At the end of the academic year, current doctorate candidates, faculty and former students participate in the celebrated Pontignano Annual Meeting. This unique event was designed to build community and create a friendly environment for students to present their ongoing research. Former alumni are usually invited and participate as ‘discussants’. The Pontignano Annual meeting allows a fruitful intellectual exchange between contiguous generations and enriches the traditional relationship with the faculty.
