At the end of the academic year, all doctorate students, faculty and some former doctorate students participate to the annual meeting of the doctorate. In these meetings doctorate students give seminars on their doctoral research. Former doctorate students are also invited and act as a discussants. These meetings have contributed to make the Siena Doctorate a lively community where a fruitful intellectual exchange between contiguous generations enriches the traditional relation of the research studens with the faculty.
